Teacher Appreciation Week - May 4-8, 2009
We want all of our teachers and staff to have a very special week! We want to show them how much we appreciate everything they do for our children. We are encouraging everyone to participate in this fun week. We have something special planned for the staff each day (including Monday Brunch, Weds. desert Day, Friday lunch, drawings for gift certificates each day, and more!) and we are asking for your help to make it successful.
Schedule for the Week
If every student could do the following it would ensure a fabulous week of appreciation for their teacher!
Monday, May 4th
The PAC will be providing a breakfast for the staff. Signups for Monday Morning Breakfast
Tuesday, May 5th
Bring in just one flower to add to their teachers vase.
If everyone brings in one flower, all the teachers will have a beautiful bouquet in their rooms to enjoy for the week. If you forgot to bring one, or for your convenience, PAC will have 400 carnations for sale on Tuesday morning form 7:40-8:00 for $1 each
Wednesday, May 6th
Bring in a letter to their teacher.Here is a copy of a template. The letter should be from the student (and/or parent) telling what they enjoyed about the year or the teacher’s input into the child’s life.
Bring in one piece of fruit for your teacher.
The PAC will also be providing a dessert. Signups for Wednesday's Dessert
Thursday or Friday, May 7th or May 8th
Bring in a school supply for their teacher’s supply box
The Student Council Store has lots of supply choices for their teachers. They have glue sticks, expo markers, and gel pens for teachers to grade with. Lot’s of pencils, erasers, dictionaries, inside recess puzzles and games, rulers, sharpies, mechanical pencils and more. Prices range form .5 cents to $2.00. The store is open on Mondays from 11:25am to 12:10pm. The Dollar Store is also a great place to find something if you don’t already have something at home.
On Friday, the PAC will be providing lunch. Signups for Friday's Lunch
